funds responsible for paying medical costs in the state
of Ohio for union members. Together, they brought suit against
the 5 major tobacco companies in the US to recover the cost
expended by the funds on smoking related illness. Plaintiffs
contended that the Tobacco Companies violated RICO statutes,
