Fee Arrangements

Just as with any service provided to yourself or your family it it very important to understand the fee. Our firm works with a contingent fee arrangement: which means the lawyer receives no fee unless money is recovered for the client. Upon recovery, the lawyer is paid an agreed-upon percentage of the amount recovered. The percentage fee charged reflects the lawyer's best estimate of how likely the client is to win, how much money is likely to be rewarded and collected, and how much work the lawyer is likely to have to do as well as specify the costs and expenses to be deducted. We also when appropirate provide alternative billing arrangements, including the chance to work on a "reasonalble fixed fee basis." We feel it is important upfront to understand and feel comfortable with the fee arrangement, because while we take your case into our hands, payment should be the least of your concerns.
